BAM! provides the ability to highlight specific assets for MST users by placing them in the Featured Asset Carousel on the home screen. A common use of this functionality is to highlight important announcements, promote new marketing materials, or raise awareness of specific assets in the library. These are the first thing MST users will see when they open the app, which makes this a valuable tool for communicating with all users.
Adding Featured Assets
Before adding items to the Featured Assets group, they must first be published to the MST. Since these are typically assets that are organized in the Library, it is usually better to choose assets which are already published, and which warrant some special attention.
First, access the MST settings page by clicking the Settings link in the top navigation bar, then click Featured Assets on the left. Next, add assets to the carousel by clicking a box in the featured list:
In the dialog box, browse to the asset you want and Select it:
You should then see the asset included in the list. Click Save to update the Featured Assets list.
