Mobile Sales Tool users can create and manage profiles for their customers, providing easy access to contact details, as well as a history of content shared with each user. Assets in the MST library can be saved to Customer Profiles, allowing MST users to manage and share particular content for individual customers.

NOTE: Customer Profiles must be enabled by an admin from within the DAM Settings. Please see the article on Customer Profile Settings within the DAM Settings documentation for further information.

Creating Customer Profiles

The list of Customer Profiles can be accessed from within MST’s main menu:

When an MST user first accesses the Customer Profiles list, it will be empty. A new profile can be created by tapping on the Add New Profile icon in the upper right corner of the profiles list:

A profile must contain at least a customer’s Name and Email before it can be saved. The customer’s company, position, website, as well as further contact data & notes particular to this client, can also be saved to the profile:

Editing Customer Profiles

Tapping on any of the customers in the list will open the profile detail page, and tapping on any of the values will launch the appropriate app on supported mobile devices. Tapping on the Edit icon in the upper right will allow you to enter or modify any of the values within an existing profile:

Deleting Customer Profiles

You can delete a particular profile by tapping on the More Options icon next to a customer in the list view, and then selecting Delete Customer:

You can select an individual customer profile as the active customer, allowing you to save assets to that particular profile directly from the MST library without having to repeatedly scroll through the list view. Tap on the More Options icon next to the desired profile, and then tap on Select as Active Customer:

Adding Assets to Customer Profiles

Assets can be added to customer’s profile for quick access to content specific to that particular user. Assets can be added to a customer’s profile from the MST library, or from within the individual profile.

Tap on the More Options icon next to the asset you wish to add. If you have an active customer selected, adding to that customer will be the first available option. Tapping on Add to Customer will allow you to select a profile from a list:

From the Customer Profiles list, tap on the desired profile you wish to add assets. Tap on the More Options icon on the Save Assets pane at the bottom of the profile and then select Add Assets, which will open the MST library:

Tap on the More Options icon next to the asset you wish to share. The customer profile you selected to Add Assets from will be the first available option. Tapping on Add to Customer will allow you to select a profile from a list:

Sharing Assets from Customer Profiles

MST users can share assets saved to Customers Profiles. When viewing the list of Saved Assets in a customer’s profile, you can share a single asset by clicking on the More Options icon next to the desired asset and then selecting Share:

You can share multiple assets at once by tapping on the More Options icon in the Saved Asset pane and then choosing Select Assets:

Selected assets will be highlighted in blue. Once the desired assets have been selected, you will then need to select the Share icon at the bottom of the screen page:

After being prompted to select a Share Link Expiration date, a secure share URL is generated and the device’s email client will open with an email template containing a secure link to the content being shared.

If an Admin has allowed email templates to be editable by the MST users, the default email text may be editable. After the message has been sent, clicking on the link will take the recipient to a site where shared assets are accessible. Here the recipient can see when the shared asset link expires, and as long as it's still available, they can also download the asset.

Selecting the History tab within the Saved Assets pane of a profile will display a list of all of the content that has been shared with that particular customer:

NOTE: Complex builder assets can not be shared to customers outside of BAM!®, and an active internet connection is required for most of the functionality associated with Customer Profiles.
