Basic usage analytics are available to system administrators, through the Analytics tab between Settings and Profile.

Analytics Overview

The overview shows a line graph and roll-up number of metrics over time for up to five possible metrics: user activity, asset views, asset shares, calculator views, and calculations. This data is filtered to a selected time window and platform (DAM / web view, and MST / mobile view).

If you are not using Calculators in BAM!, the last two event types will not be visible.

Click on the line graph or the left-hand navigation to get to the detail views for each event type.

User Activity

The user activity view indicates the number of users who were active on each day (user-days) in the specified time period. This view, like the others, is filtered to a particular time span and platform.

Filter to a specific day by clicking a point in the “activity by day” graph, and filter to a specific user by clicking on that user in the table.

A report at the bottom of the table will allow a download of a Detailed Report of filtered users and events over time, in tabular (CSV) format.

Asset Views

All assets which have been viewed in the given time period are listed with a number of views in the given time frame. The title of each asset is also a link to the asset in the BAM! Library. Clicking elsewhere in the asset row will filter the graph and exported report to views of the given asset, and show the users viewing the asset in the table.

Asset Shares

Assets shared in the time period will be visible with the number of shares per asset. Filtering to a given asset also results in the expiration date for each share, first view date for the shared asset, and total views per share.

Calculator Views

If calculator views are active, this view will show the total views of each calculator. This view can be filtered the same way the asset views are.

Calculations

Calculations reflect the number of times users clicked “Calculate” within the calculators, to get the final outputs based on the given inputs.

If the view is filtered to one calculator (generally by clicking a row in the table), a “Calculations Report” button appears, which allows the download of a report of specific inputs and outputs.
