New and newly-edited assets in the DAM are indexed for search every 5 minutes. Once indexed, it is possible to search for assets using any of these methods:
Tags - one of the most powerful uses of tags in BAM! is for searching. A search for a specific tag will return all assets which contain that tag in their data.
Description - Text in the asset description is searchable.
File Name - when searching for a file name, remember to enter all of it - including the extension.
Title - searching for words in the title will return assets similarly titled.
