Summary:

This release delivers a new feature, enhancements, and bug fixes. 

Enhancements: 

  • New Feature - User Generated Content: New menu item allows your Mobile Sales Tool users to upload content from their device into the DAM
    • MST Users will be prompted to grant the app permission to their camera roll upon first time use – Access to camera roll is required, as well as Internet connection
    • Configurable Settings located under "MST Settings": This page allows you to configure User Generated Content settings for Mobile Sales Tool users. 
    • Permissions: Add users to the System: UGC Creators group to give them permission to upload
    • Approval Process for Content Admins: UGC must be approved by a DAM Content Admin before it can be used in the library or published
    • Upload Process: When UGC is enabled, members of the System: UGC Creators group will be able to add assets via the Mobile Sales Tool. After granting access to their camera roll, MST Users can upload a photo or video by selecting the "Upload a File" option. After selecting a photo or video, they fill out/edit the required metadata items as configured by the Content Admin
    • Upload History: MST Users can see their previously uploaded content in the "Upload History" list, sorted by the most previous upload to the oldest

  • Disclaimers for Calculator are now displayed on Results output page

  • Asset thumbnail images are now a higher resolution for improved visibility

  • Folder Permissions Modal: allows filtering by both users and groups, when adding permissions to a folder
  • System groups have been renamed with more user friendly labels
  • Increased the resolution of video asset previews
  • Asset replacement icon has been updated


Bug Fixes:

  • News Content scrolls down for improved readability
  • Powerpoint files are now available to save for offline viewing

  • Fixed video transcoding issue that caused incorrect rotation of videos

  • Fixed Builder creation issue that prevented Users from saving a new Builder Asset
